I love my Goldfish...
So I'm in my office at work a couple of days ago, pounding out emails when my wife stickers her head in and says.
"Do you realize there is a bunch of pond snails in a Rubbermaid tub out here"
This would be one of the tubs i recently dumped full of pond plants. It's that time of year where I dump all of the stuff I propagate for selling during the summer. Now I just keep enough to keep them going during the winter until it's time to ramp up the production for the next pond season.
Anyway I reply with a concerned "Ok" not sure of her reason for mentioning it.
"Would it be ok if i put some of them in with the goldfish in my office" she asked. Never one to say no to my darling wife I said "sure".
Meaning no, but saying yes.
Well a few minutes later she returned with "You will never guess what happened when I threw in about a dozen of those snails?"
THEY ATE THEM
Not one snail hit the bottom of the tank,
I love my goldfish, doing their part to rid the world of snails

Oh my
not the best of stories, at least not on my my end!
Well, I suppose your goldfish and my tequila fish should start sending post cards to each other....they can rant about their daily snail hunt....

Perhaps we can just bring Mrs. Benson some more snails for a different tank.

Re: I love my Goldfish...
I have been hanging out in Toronto the past few days. I just left a Big Al's location and I am trying to figure out if the black tip shark they have in there will fit in my carry on bag.
Probably not

I have two small SW tanks running right now (55G & 33G) the 215 is still sitting idle. I have to get this thing finished, my Clown tang is growing like a weed and needs bigger space soon. If I don't get it done pronto, I am thinking of removing some or all of the live rock from the 55G he's in. When we got him in Feb he was the size of a quarter, 8 months later he's now the size of my hand.

Re: I love my Goldfish...
The 215 is going to be wicked when it's finished. We'll have to have a ribbon ceremony for it.
