new food for goldfish....
I was able to pick up new goldfish food today so hopefully this will assist with the bacteria |"poop"" issue of periodic floating at the top
Steve, may I ask please what you would recommend in terms of the number of these to feed per day.....they only had one type that was marked small....
Thank YOu

Re: new food for goldfish....
never really measured it out, but just try a couple of pinches twice a day and see what they eat. If you start finding it on the bottom of the tank, vacuum it out and just cut back a bit. Goldfish will forage around the bottom and suck it up later but if you notice uneaten food laying around might want to real it back a little. Goldfish are best kept on the hungry side.
I go through one of those bags every two weeks.

Re: new food for goldfish....
wow!
every 2 weeks....!!!!!
suppose the the bag should last me at least 100 yrs!!!! lol.....
kidding of course...but the bag is big.....
should I also try the baby comets on this?
I know likely Red and Black fin will be fine with it...they are larger than the babies (they are 2 I rescued from kijiji in the little 5 gallon)
also obviously will give it to the black moore and fancies....as this is where the floating issue is...ie in their tank
Thank You Steve
