Rules and Regulations (Updated June 1st, 2015)

Member Responsibility

As a member of Canadaquaria, it is your responsibility to read and abide by the rules and regulations of the forum. Failure to do so may result in the members removal from the forum. It is also your responsibility to keep up to date with updates to the rules and regulations, updates to this agreement may occur at any time, and it the member's sole responsibility to keep themselves informed on the current rules.

This is a family friendly forum, and we intend to keep it that way.


The Following Is Prohibited

1. Posts or messages which are: obscene, vulgar, sexually-explicit, hateful, threatening, insulting or  inflammatory.

1a. The use of User Names, Avatars or Signatures containing anything obscene, vulgar or sexually-explicit or of a sexual nature or anything else deemed inappropriate for a family forum

2. Profanity will not be tolerated

3. Spamming or poaching will not be tolerated
Spam is not limited to, but may include unauthorized advertisements, links to advertisements, self or product promotion, improperly placed posts or threads, and repetitious posts. Any attempts to lure Canadaquaria members and guests to external sites is strictly prohibited.  

4. Trolling of any kind

5. Any posts, files, or links which in any way promote illegal activities or materials.

6. Posting copyrighted images or material without the permission of and credit to the owner.
If you don't know if an image is copyrighted or permissible for posting, please find out first. For example finding an photo on an google image search does not necessarily make the image fair game for posting. If you have any further questions in regards to this policy, please contact a moderator or administration.

7. Publishing or posting to another website or other location of any material from this site without written permission from the author.

8. You may not post items for sale or links to external businesses. This includes solicitation for raising money, favours, or other purposes.  Our sponsors generously support us for the sole right to post sale items.

If you are uncertain if you can/should post any material, please review with a moderator or administrator first.

ANY violations of the above rules may result in the deletion of the said post at the sole discretion of Canadaquaria Moderators and/or Administration at any time, and without warning. The consequences for violating any of the above rules may range from a warning to outright permanent ban depending on the severity of the offence.

Members are responsible for the content they produce, and must comply to all municipal, provincial, federal or international bylaws and/or laws. Canadaquaria reserves the right to report any known infractions to the applicable enforcement agency.

Those members who do not abide by these rules are subject to bans, and will be reported to Forumotion

In no circumstance will, Canadaquaria be held responsible in any way or any content from a user or from a third-party, including but not limited to, any mistake or omission in these contents, or for any loss or damage of any kind, by the fact of the use of these contents noticed and, sent by e-mail or transmitted in any way via the services.
