PLECO issue

First topic message reminder :

Last night, my female pleco was fine, nice & black.
Get home this morning & she looks like this;

Any ideas??? Tank was just filled this past weekend.
Will be doing a water change later today as I am also re-setting up the other large tank today.

I think they may have a hard time finding someone that would have a tank big enough to properly house a beast that big regardless of the price. How big was yours compared to that one?

She was about 20 inches in length. But not near as big as that one. Maybe half width wise.
