Update on the 2 New Guys!
Just thought I would plug in a brief update on the 2 new additions to our home/family...the 2 comets, Black Fin and Red...
They are doing extremely well!
Although they are living in their temporary home (a 20 gallon), they appear to be sooo....much happier than the day I first met them!
Future plans for them will be a larger tank indeed...either one just for the 2 of them or a huge tank for all the comets...will make the move depending upon which comes 1st!
So happy I was able to take them out of the living situation they were in! People have no understanding or not alot of understanding of the needs of goldfish! There are so many myths!!!!!! They truly are a misunderstood fish!

I agree!!!!!
I have already done 2 water changes on these guys since coming here and plan to change the water at least 2-3 times per week...until I upgrade!
I do not mind changing their water, makes my heart happy to know I am helping them!
see u tomorrow!

Glad to here they are doing well,
Picked up a few refugees today myself.
They were still outside in a small backyard pond, the cold water really intensifies their colors.
The will spend the night in a bucket before moving on to a 55gal tank tomorrow, with a few others i have to pick up tomorrow.

Glad to hear they are doing well, goldfishbetalover and that you are enjoying caring for them.
Amazingly intense colors on those rescues.Sbenson11 wrote:
