Hi all!
Thanks to Gary and Biulu, I got my hands on a couple of Peacock Gudgeons!
They are sooooo cute I can't believe it!
So here I am, presenting them to you!

Congratulations! I love those fish! It is good that you got them because Vince told me that he can't breed them anymore as the male decided to jump out of the tank.

Thank you!
It's bad that he lost his male :(There are such awesome fish!
Here are two pictures of them, this is my male (I think)

And this is the female (I know)

Wow nice one as well!
They are such great fish!
I really hope what I have are one male, one female, I have observed the one on top and he's always entering, exiting caves, so I guess it's a good sign
What did you have them with?

I had them first in a tank with loaches which wasn't a good idea because the loaches immediately took possession of the tube lengths.
I then had them only with other shoaling species and that was much better.

Yes, I hope they do breed at one point! Altho, I don't have an extra tank to raise them in so I think that would make things a bit more difficult..
I could try raising them in a hang on tank, then once they are big enough, put them in my 20 gal with my neons..
Not sure how to go about this!

I don't know what else you have in the 20, but you could move the neons to the 46 before breeding and dedicate the 20 to the gobies for the breeding time.

I don't have fry yet, but they are big enough to accept grindal worm after 3-4 days..
Right now in the 20gal, I have a growing Cherry Red Shrimp Colony, will be using some to feed my fish (the lesser quality ones) and keeping the better ones until I have a painted fire var. , hopefully.

I'm glad you found them. They look great. I like that you do your video updates. I hope they do really well in your tank, and enjoy them.
Woohoo.
