Great deal!

Okay, so this probably does not warrant an actual post. But, I just got a great deal, and I have to share! I scored a glass top and an led double bright moonlight/daylight lighting system for $40. They say they are nine months old, but no longer need them due to an upgrade (here's hoping this is the truth and they are in good order!). We desperately need both for the guppy tank, so I am a happy camper! Picking them up tomorrow....

PS: guppies are getting bigger, along with some major colour. pics soon too come in the livebearer section, assuming they calm down a bit (they are VERY hyperactive at the moment!).

be sure to test the marineland. The one I got second hand had a shoddy switch. Sadly it was less light than my 23W CFL, so I sold it off.

Will do, I'll have them plug'er in, and if it works to my liking, I'll hope for a long term gain!
