Re: Canadaquaria Gallons
Currently running a 10g, setting up a new 15g tomorrow, and have a no more than 10g coming next week...
So my total is 35g
Bringing the forum total to 13,631g...I believe
Guess I will just edit this post. I picked up my 3rd tank. It is a 5g so my total is 30g. Bringing the forum total to 13, 626g.

Re: Canadaquaria Gallons
Ultimately it doesn't mater if you have 5Gal or 5,000Gal, if your passionate about fish you make do with what you have.
I actually think some of the 5 and 10Gal tanks people have are pretty cool. It's not easy to be successful in such a small volume of water. Any idiot (masquerading as a experienced fish keeper) can throw 1,000Gal of water in a tank and be successful.

Re: Canadaquaria Gallons
I've always found small tank really difficult to maintain at the proper parameters. I usually try to get new fish keepers to start with a slightly larger aqarium as to not be diapointed when they loose fish early on and leave the hobby.

as much as i would adore a 20 gallon tank or bigger i dont have the room for it in my bedroom,that and the upper floors of the house are all hardwood and i already kind of had a few minor accidents with buckets of water, i dont think a bigger tank would be a good idea at this point lol
Re: Canadaquaria Gallons
I have a 55 gallon planted community tank, and a 10 gallon marine nano tank. So, 65 gallons.

Re: Canadaquaria Gallons
Be sure to continue to add to our total if you have new tanks, or if you are new to Canadaquaria.

Last count is 15 155.
I think @Aquaman_95 (65 g) and @coolestmysterysnail (45 g) tanks have not been added to the sum. => 15 265 gallons.
I have a 29,9 gallons + 5 gallons = 35 gallons
New total is 15 300 gallons => 400x173.25x50 inches or 10.16x4.40x1.27 meters
According to AqAdvisor, enough for 4500 platys. That's a good gene pool !

Thank you for adding the others. Wow 4500 platys... I'd like to see that.
Re: Canadaquaria Gallons
Maybe more platys if i reduce height and increase width and depth.
Thats also a lot of baby. With 4000 birth by month => 5,5 fries per hour lol
