Cheap Foam filter inserts...

I was rummaging around on Ebay a while back and I came across some cheap foam filter inserts. They were located in China, which is usually a red flag for me. However it was only $40 and I decided to go for it. About four weeks later a package arrive the included 50 inserts for the AQ50 and 12 for the AQ70. It cost $40US and they had a free shipping deal on and there was nothing else to pay at the door.

I was pleasantly surprised with the purchase and this seller.

Good deals. I buy stuff from eBay all the time. However you do have to be careful because descriptions are not always accurate.

I have never changed sponges on my filters though. They seem to last quite long. Just squeeze them clean and off the go. I see it as more of biological media than simply physical media.

Yes you do have to be careful and China has always been a red flag for me.

Up until a couple of years ago me and a buddy of mine ran a business on Ebay selling sporting goods in our spare time. Unfortunately the spare time dried up and we sold the business to someone else. For a few years we maintained a gold power seller status. Which means you are selling in excess of $10,000US per month.
