My Tetra tank is leaking!

This tank was bought new by me 2 years ago and was built in April 2014 according to the factory. There is no scratch, no fissure whatsoever. And it is leaking a lot!

I thought that Tetra was a good brand, but now I am not so sure anymore.... Anyway, letting the tank dry and will get the silicon out; the leak is at the bottom.

Is it better to take off the old silicon, or should I simply put more silicon on top and around?

If you go over the old Silicone make sure you go to new glass and redo all seems as Silicone does not stick to silicone for sealing. I would also use a vinegar wipe then dry, on the glass. Hope all works out for you.
