Anyone have any interesting plans for their aquariums to get them ready for the fall?

My 26g definitely needs a big prune for plants. Also time to recharge the CO2, and do a good algae scrub down. Nothing particularly special for the season, but definitely overdue.

I'm also weighing my options on mid-level fish that might be a good choice for my hard water. When I was running my RO, and had pretty soft water, I did the rummynose tetra thing, but I'm down to one of those little guys, and need some other interesting options.

Big plans for anyone else? I'm sure we must have some ponds that are getting to the end of their seasons.

Daydreaming about setting up a 40 gal breeder and doing a Congo-ish biotype. Not sure if it will be this fall or not though.

Trying to find a new co2 tank since the one I have is borrowed.
Not sure what else I have going on.

For your mid level fish, maybe congo tetras?
