Another move!! OH NOES!!!
Ahh shoot!
I thought I was going to stay in that place for a long time!! But things have come up, and the result is I have to move out of this place.
I am going to do this move in a more efficient way, with tricks I have learned from moving the last time.
With enough luck, I'll be able to do it very fast.
First of all, I am planning on rearanging my aquascape in my main tank, and moving the endlers out to their own 20g long.
I really love them but I have new plans for the 77g.
I will first remove all the hardscape I'm planning to use from my tank and try different layouts, all the plants will stay in the tank meanwhile, to make sure I don't stress the fish too much.
When I'm satisfied with what I have, I will proceed with the move.
I will remove the fish, separate the more aggressive cichlids, and put the other schooling fish together.
I'm probably going to put my celestichtis margaritatus in with the endlers.
Then, I'll remove all the dirt and the substrate and move the tank.
After this, I'm going to put my dirt layer again in the new home, cap it again, add the hardscape and plants, fill it up and add the fish.
Since it's all going to be in winter, I'm going to put the fish in a large cooler/thermos thing..
That new place I will have will permit me to have a nice setup for 3x5 gallon tanks + 1x 20 long, this is super.
Wish me luck!

Re: Another move!! OH NOES!!!
Good luck with the move! Sounds like you have a plan all set. Will you need to move far?
Re: Another move!! OH NOES!!!
Thanks! Fortunately, the move is about 1km away, makes everything a lot less stressful!
Re: Another move!! OH NOES!!!
I wish you luck and hope everything goes well for you and the fish get to there new home safely.

It's only scary the first time you move tanks. After that, it's a chore. It'll be fine.

May your slimecoat be thick,
And you fish free of ich.
May your ammonia not spike,
And your nitrates be right.
May your fish be stress free,
And your move be a breeze.
God speed to your change,
Watch over your pH range.

Re: Another move!! OH NOES!!!
Thank you all for your support.
I have now a lot of good words and a nice poem to accompany me in my move.
As Gary said, it should only be a chore this time.

Re: Another move!! OH NOES!!!
Time to update on this move!
I did it in two days.
First day was the 10 gallon and 2x5 gallon fry tanks...
It went really well. I did lose 3 fry tho.
This is my fry setup on it's new rack:
This is the 10 Gallon Betta tank in my room:
One week later, which was today, I moved my big 77.
This is me, I'm happy about being able to fit the tank and the stand in my tiny Versa..
This is the hardscape I had decided:
And this is the tank, with all the plants and fishes in..
Whew! What a chore!
Now I have to clean my place..

Wow looks great. A job well done. Now the fun part of cleaning like you mentioned. One step at a time.
