Hygrophilia Polysperma
Hygrophila polysperma is one of the hardiest aquarium plants . It normally grows so fast that it is important to prevent it crowding out other plants. The shoots must be pruned out regularly. Hygrophila polysperma varies a bit in leaf shape and colour, depending he variety and on the light. My hygrophila polysperma green turns pink on the top due to high light. But the Hygrophila polysperma sunset comes with pink leaves and white veins. And gets even pinker under high light. Can grow to height of 20 inches and requires medium to high light. But is a easy low demanding plant.

Re: Hygrophilia Polysperma
Is that some of it turning pink in the to left corner? Do you have it in many tanks, or just this one (which one is this?)? Thank you for the photo.

Hard to see from the picture but its actually pink all the way across the top but its light pink. But yes some in the left corner too. I have it in 2 tanks but the majority is in this tank where its been growing the longest. This tank is a 15 gallon tall. And it grows right to the surface. I might take another picture from directly above.

Very nice looking hygro - will agree it is a hardy plant, and fairly easy to grow, at least it was for me, I do like the pink near the top when it grows up, adds lovely colour to the plant itself.

Yep. In my experience it has been the easiest plant out of what I've tried. It grows like a weed and propagates very easily.
