So I was out tonight making making the rounds of the LFS's and i came across something interesting.

All I said was "Hey dear look at this" and I was abruptly replied with "Your not getting one and that's final" Shocked

my husband actually seemed quite joyful about our new additions when he came in this evening...
wonder what he might say if I show him this photo and ask if we can get one of these as well!!!!

Very cute but your wife is a wise woman. It looks like a dwarf caiman to me. I remember a shop selling those when I was a kid. What folks don't realize is that depending upon the species, adult size ranges from 4 - 6 feet. Shocked

Not what most folks are prepared for.

As cute as it is,

A. it would need it's own home

B. It would mean cutting out a future Koi purchase

c. My wife would probably feed me to it.

Even with several tanks full of big mean fish, that would be too extreme even for me! I do hope it ends up in a good home though. Probably not, and thats a shame.

I am like you Steve if I brought that home I might be what it eats.Sad to say I am like others the person who gets it will probably not do well with it.Interesting pet though.
