Canister Filter with UV Sterilizer
Hello All - Anyone run a heavy planted tank with a canister filter with UV sterilizer? I am getting alot of conflicting information mostly about how the liquid fertz become toxic when you have a UV sterilizer.
Just curious if anyone does run it? See any benefits esp' in planted tanks? How long do you run the UV?
Thanks.

Re: Canister Filter with UV Sterilizer
From the little I know the UV should be run 24/7 this will keep parasites and algae from being able to really get established and cause problems.
