Aquarium Gravels Specific to Planted Aquariums Empty Aquarium Gravels Specific to Planted Aquariums

I'm interested in knowing everyone's recommendations for aquarium substrate gravel, specific for planted aquariums. I'm doing preliminary research for my 55 gallon, which will be redone into a planted tank sometime later this year. I am interested in dark (as close to black as possible) gravels that are marketed for planted tanks.

I've been leaning towards CaribSea "Eco-complete Planted Black" but I want your input!

I use eco complete with high success. It is the perfect grain size for plant roots. Does not compact and nice color.
