I have seen this before. He thinks he's out of pocket now.. how about the house itself? A small fortune to convert back to a "regular" home, and worthless to anybody who doesnt want it as is. What a maroon!

Financially, not a great move on his part... but at least he can go "swimming with the fishies" on a regular basis without any godfather like repercussions!

I read a similar article about this guy a little while back,

If i remember correctly he is going to convert it to something cold water so he doesn't have to heat it. Kind of a shame really such a awesome setup. To bad he couldn't have figured out a way to generate some kind of revenue from it. Me and my Koi would do just nice with a setup like that. Smile

I would love to get my hands on one of those Fly River Turtles. It's the only truly aquatic fresh water turtle if I'm not mistaken.

I was waiting for you to chime in, Steve. I shoulda know "tis the season" for you per se. Glad you made it through. You'd be able to keep all kinda prize koi in there.

Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad  I WANT HIS FISHTANK  Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

I believe I read "former girlfriend" ... because if I had this tank in our home, it would be "former wife". But still envious ... I'd figure a way to heat it, but then native species can be fun too.

I was at Big Al's yesterday here in London & the owner told me there's a guy in Brantford that has a 50,000 gallon tank at his home.
