"spider" Web????
I have a couple spiderweb type threaded substances being spun or grown in my 110 gal planted set up. It's predominantly at top my combo be plants and strung over the the heater element even. What is it and should I be concerned?

Sounds like String Algae or hair algae. Someone will give us both the scientific name for it, I hope.
My current avatar is a pond snail hanging by a string of this algae and being finished off by my Black Bar Endlers. They think it is perfect for that, anyway!
I just use a wooden slotted spoon (or my fingers), and scoop it off, but it usually indicates too much light and/or too many nutrients in your tank, ie overfeeding, which I am guilty of!!!
